One such inspiring figure in the pharmaceutical sector is Mr. Aluwani Muligwe, Director of Rite-Care Pharmacy INC. Through years of hands-on clinical service, strategic management, and entrepreneurial vision, Mr. Muligwe has transformed community pharmacy services across South Africa.
Strong Foundations in Pharmacy & Management
Mr. Muligwe’s journey began with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from the University of the North in 2003. Recognizing the critical intersection of clinical skills and strategic leadership, he went on to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Management from Medunsa in 2007.
He gained extensive frontline experience starting as an intern at Pietersburg Provincial Hospital and moving through various roles at Letaba Hospital—where he rose from Pharmacist to Senior Pharmacist and ultimately Pharmacy Manager. His career in clinical environments continued with valuable experience gained at Limpopo Medi-Clinic.
Driving Systemic Impact
Driven by a passion for public health and broader healthcare improvements, Mr. Muligwe transitioned into strategic advisory roles:

- Management Sciences for Health (MSH): As a Senior Technical Adviser for Limpopo Pharmaceutical Services (under a USAID-funded project), he worked to strengthen regional healthcare delivery systems.

- SEAD Consulting: As a District Pharmacy Coordinator, he continued advising and developing public health infrastructure.
Building Rite-Care Pharmacy INC
In 2014, Mr. Muligwe channeled his expertise into entrepreneurship by founding Rite-Care Pharmacy INC and opening Ladanna Pharmacy. Under his leadership as Pharmacy Director and practicing pharmacist, the organization expanded rapidly to meet community needs, establishing Parks-Med Pharmacy in 2016 and IV-Med Pharmacy in 2019.
Through his commitment to affordability, accessibility, and friendly patient care, Mr. Muligwe continues to make a lasting, positive impact on healthcare access across the region.
